Who we are

Timezoners ("we", "us") is based in New Zealand. Contact: support@timezoners.com.

What we collect

  • App data you enter: names (arbitrary labels, not meant to be personally identifiable), time zones, availability windows, and boards you create or share. Important: boards are not associated with email addresses or accounts.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, and error logs.
  • Cookies & storage: essential cookies/local-storage to keep your preferences; [analytics cookies if enabled].
  • Support messages: content you send us by email or forms.

Why we collect it

  • Provide core features (show overlapping work hours, share boards).
  • Improve reliability and performance, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
  • Communicate with you about the service.

Legal bases (EU/UK visitors)

Perform a contract (provide the app); legitimate interests (security, debugging, UX); consent (non-essential cookies/analytics).

Sharing

We use service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, email). They process data for us and under contract. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International transfers

Data may be processed in New Zealand and other countries where our providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards where required.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete boards you control.

Your rights

  • NZ: request access and correction.
  • EU/UK: access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, and consent withdrawal.
  • California: know, delete, correct, and (if applicable) opt-out of "sale"/"sharing."
